What's checked at the door, which documents work, and what happens if you're not 18 yet.

The door is where badly planned nights fall apart, and it's almost always for the same reason: the ID.
Everything you need to know before you arrive, so the door is the shortest errand of the night.
What's the minimum age to get in?
18. No exceptions, no special cases.
Do they ask for DNI?
Yes, always, everywhere. Everyone gets checked at the door.
I turn 18 in three days, can I go anyway?
No. Three days are three days. Turn 18, and the following Wednesday we'll be waiting for you with your brand-new DNI.
Does a photo of my DNI on my phone work?
No. It has to be the physical document.
Can I use someone else's ID?
It doesn't work, and it also ruins your night: the door catches it.
I'm a tourist, what ID do I bring?
Your passport. It's the standard document for foreigners at the door of any Argentine club.
Does a driver's license work?
Depends on the venue and the door staff's judgment. DNI or a passport never fail; anything else is a gamble.
How does JOLIE's QR code work?
You sign up at fiestajolie.com and your QR code lands in your account: you log into the site, open it, and show it at the door along with your DNI. It's free, and the QR code doesn't replace your DNI, it goes alongside it.
Is the QR code personal?
Yes, it's yours. Don't share it or forward it.
Is there a guest list?
Not needed at JOLIE: entry is already free for everyone who gets the QR code.
Can the door turn me away?
Yes, if you don't have ID, if you're underage, or if you show up in a state that puts your safety or everyone else's at risk.
Are there dress requirements at the door?
There's no dress code. You can get in wearing sweats, sneakers, and a cap, no problem.
