Buenos Aires doesn't have a single, contained gay neighborhood like other capitals: the scene is spread out, with two or three zones that hold almost everything.
These are the location questions that come up most, with exact addresses.
What is Buenos Aires' gay neighborhood?
There isn't just one. Palermo has the highest concentration of LGBTIQ+ parties and bars, and San Telmo has a more underground scene. The rest is spread along major avenues like Córdoba.
Where is JOLIE?
At Club Araoz, Aráoz 2424, Palermo, City of Buenos Aires. If you're standing at 2422, walk two more meters.
Where is FEL!ZA?
At Av. Córdoba 3271, CABA, just steps from Santa Fe and Corrientes.
Where does FEMME happen?
At FEL!ZA, Av. Córdoba 3271. Same venue, different night.
Why do I see several parties at the same address?
Because FEL!ZA is a venue, not a single party: it's a queer cultural club with a different lineup every night, and several parties happen there.
Palermo or San Telmo?
Palermo has more fixed options and is easier to walk between spots. San Telmo is more underground and more about discovery.
Can you walk from one place to another?
Within Palermo, often yes. Between Palermo and Av. Córdoba it's better to grab a taxi or a rideshare: it's several blocks.
How do I get to Aráoz 2424?
It's in Palermo, near the Santa Fe corridor. Several bus lines reach it and Subte line D is a few blocks away; late at night, the simplest option is a rideshare app.
Is there parking?
There are private garages in the area, but on a Wednesday night the usual move is to take transit or a rideshare and skip driving altogether.
Do parties change venues?
Traveling parties do, often. Fixed ones don't: JOLIE is always at Aráoz 2424 and FEL!ZA is always at Av. Córdoba 3271.
Are there LGBTIQ+ parties outside downtown?
Yes, the north side and Greater Buenos Aires have their own scene, but the steady, weekly lineup is concentrated in the city (CABA).
How do I know if a party still exists?
Check its Instagram that same week. Fixed parties always post; if an account hasn't posted in months, it's probably done.
